Brazilian Philanthropy Forum

The Brazilian Philanthropy Forum aims to provide an exclusive space for the philanthropic community to reunite, exchange experiences and learn with peers, enriching strategic philanthropy in order to promote societal development in Brazil. BPF is a joint iniiative of the Institute for the Development of Social Investment (IDIS) and the Global Philanthropy Forum (GPF). The 2019 Brazilian Philanthropy Forum (BPF) will be held on September 12 in San Paulo, Brazil. The theme of this year’s forum will be “The Power of Communities”. The conference will explore what constitutes a community, how to build it, how to enhance it, and how to define it around shared values and interests. BPF will touch upon the crisis of trust that compromises partnerships and hampers giving, along with issues of solidarity – that very impulse that fuels philanthropy.
