Ben Keesey serves as Executive Director and CEO of Invisible Children, Inc. Invisible Children is an international nonprofit that documents the lives of those living in regions of conflict and injustice to educate and inspire individuals in the Western world to use their unique voice for change. In regions like northern Uganda, programs focus on long-term development through education and innovative economic opportunities. Mr. Keesey received his BA in Applied Mathematics, Management and Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles. He previously worked with Deloitte and Touche LLP, JP Morgan and Associates and Brentwood Associates Private Equity before joining the organization in 2005 as CFO. Mr. Keesey has since helped it grow from a little-known grassroots documentary film into an international movement of youth changing culture, policy and lives. Invisible Children’s programs on the ground, such as the Bracelet Campaign and Visible Child Scholarship, have allowed thousands to rebuild their lives after twenty-two years of war while also creating some of the most effective development strategies for conflict and post-conflict regions.
