The Reverend Jim Ball, Ph.D., an ordained Baptist minister, is Executive Director of the Evangelical Environmental Network (EEN), Publisher of Creation Care magazine, originator of EEN’s “What Would Jesus Drive?” educational campaign, and a key organizer and spokesperson for the Evangelical Climate Initiative. In November 2005 Rolling Stone magazine named him one of its 25 “Warriors and Heroes” fighting global warming.  Time magazine recently named him one of its climate change “innovators” in its April 3rd, 2006 edition. Rev. Ball has appeared live on ABC’s Good Morning America; CNN’s American Morning, Crossfire, and Headline News; and Fox News’ The Big Story, and Fox and Friends.  Rev. Ball has also been featured on ABC’s World News Tonight and PBS’ NOW Show with Bill Moyers. Rev. Ball became EEN’s Executive Director in January 2000.  Before that he taught at Montclair State University in New Jersey, and was Minister of Christian Education at the First Baptist Church of Beloit, Wisconsin. Rev. Ball has a BA from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and a Ph.D. from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.
