Nataliya Gumenyuk is a Ukrainian journalist specializing in foreign affairs. She is the co-founder and head of Hromadske.TV, an independent television creating public broadcasting in Ukraine, and Hromadske International, a multimedia platform that explains the Eastern European geopolitical storm in both English and Russian.
Since the start of the revolution, and later conflict in Ukraine, Gumenyuk has been reporting from the field in Maidan, Crimea and Donbas. As an independent, international correspondent, she has reported on major political and social events from approximately 50 countries. She has been closely following post-Arab Spring developments in the Arab world and is the author of the book “Maidan Tahrir. In Search of the Lost Revolution,” a collection of reports from the Middle East researching what happens to the societies after the revolution. As a commentator, Gumenyuk cooperates with a number of Ukrainian and international media outlets.
