Mr. Frances started a ‘for profit’ environmental and social purpose enterprise called Easy Being Green, which is working to drive environmental change in households nationally and internationally. Previously, he was Executive Director at the Brotherhood of St. Laurence, one of Australia’s leading welfare organizations based in Melbourne. Born in the United Kingdom, Mr. Frances first worked in the corporate world of hospitality as well as stockbroking. He later established two UK social businesses – Furniture Resource Centre and CREATE – and he received an MBE from the British Government for services to charity. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Social Research at Swinburne University and an In 2003 was awarded a Centenary Medal for service to Australian society. He was ordained as an Anglican priest in 1996.
