Zulfiqar Ahmad

Mr. Ahmad is responsible for the production of weekly reports on South Asia as well as for the planning, development and implementation of the Institute’s programs on issues of peace, security and sustainable development in the region. Most recently, he worked on an International Labor Organization-funded research and mapping project on labor organizations within the informal sector of Pakistan’s economy. He has written essays on politics and literature for various Pakistani newspapers and magazines. A graduate of Hampshire College, Amherst, and the University of Chicago, Mr. Ahmad has a long history of engagement with various South Asian organizations engaged with issues of peace, security and democracy in the region.
